Paul: The Original Short-Term Missionary
Let the heavens keep declaring His glory. But let your church go and declare His gospel. Let’s move. Let’s build. Let’s go — together. Just like Paul did.

The Adventure of a Lifetime:
Take some time. Talk to God. Ask Him what He would have you do. He’s waiting.I’ve been involved in missions since 1978. There were seasons when I wasn’t walking closely with the Lord. But Jesus saw the road ahead. He knew I’d be hungry and thirsty for Him, and He carved out a plan for me to join TIME Missions.I’m not qualified to lead—except that Jesus gives me permission, through the renewing of my mind each day in Him. That’s what allows me to live out the greatest adventure of my life.

Spring has Sprung
The Bible tells us that we know and see in part, meaning we don't fully grasp all the spiritual activity around us. But Jesus asked us to be ready, in season and out of season, to share his good news with the world. Pray for Time Missions as we strive to stay focused on sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through the work of the body of Christ from America, Canada, and other countries that want to join us in this great mission.

It is the season of Short-Term Missions
It is the season of Short-Term Missions Here at TIME Ministries | About we love our short-term missions friends around the globe "Lord, we lift up all the short-term missions organizations around the world. We pray for safe travels and protection for each team going and organization hosting. May their efforts be fruitful and productive for Your kingdom. We also ask that lasting partnerships and friendships be formed, grounded in Your love, and that these connections continue to grow through eternity. Amen."

Alright, I’ll admit it—this is a biased blog.
The Bottom Line: You Are on Assignment; the Great Commandment and the Great Commission are not optional for believers. If we love God, we will love others—and that love compels us to share the gospel. If we do not take up our mission, we are neglecting the very purpose of the church.

BE ONE CHURCH.
We are called to be one church—a united, diverse, and grace-filled body that reflects the character of Christ. Let‘s live lives worthy of the calling we have received, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit, and using the grace freely given to us to serve one another. In doing so, we will Be One church, the church that God has called us to be, a light in a divided world.

The Shy One?
Ask yourself: Do you really see the work of the Holy Spirit in your life? Is there that constant friction—the necessary wear and tear—that’s molding you into someone more like Jesus? If you’re just cruising on the surface, you might be missing the transformative power that comes from truly understanding and engaging with the Spirit.

We are the ODDS!
So, be odd. Be the ones who don’t fit. Be the ones who live, love, and lead differently. Because to be odd in the eyes of the world is to be right-side-up in the Kingdom of Jesus. And that’s not losing. That’s winning.

SAYING YES.
Moses wasn’t exactly “missionary material” when God called him. By today’s standards, he wouldn’t have made the cut. He didn’t go to seminary. He wasn’t a dynamic speaker. He wasn’t even excited about the idea of leading.

"KINGDOM LIVING" has it really been explained
Let’s be real—“Kingdom Living” has become one of those safe church phrases we throw around when we’re not sure how to explain what we’re actually doing with our faith. It’s like the Christian version of “I’ll pray for you”—sounds great but doesn’t always mean much.

INTIMACY FIRST
Like Abraham, whose journey with God was marked by trust, obedience, and a growing relationship, we too are called to walk closely with Him. Through this intimacy, we learn to think rightly about God, ourselves, and others—a foundation for thriving in both ministry and daily life. Let’s explore how intimacy with God, as modeled by Abraham, can transform our thinking and relationships, and how TIME Missions provides a space to experience this growth.

AWAY WITH YOU
Calvin repeatedly points to the cross as the ultimate proof that God’s ways are not our ways. The cross isn’t just a symbol of sacrifice; it’s a declaration that our best efforts are worthless apart from Jesus. Modern evangelicalism often tries to smooth out the rough edges of the cross, making it a feel-good story rather than a call to radical surrender.

How to Approach Jesus for Intimacy with Him ‍
When we grow in intimacy with Jesus, our desires change. Selfish ambitions and personal needs fall away, replaced by a deeper joy in simply being with Him. We become like a tree shedding dead leaves, letting go of old ways as new growth begins.

Rest In Peace Dorretta Brown
For a humble country girl, God used her to inspire hundreds of lives. “There is a time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance,” the Bible tells us. On July 13, 2024 we will bury Dorretta’s body next to her husband, and the following day we will celebrate her life at First Baptist Church in Salem, Oregon. We will mourn the loss of a significant presence and the light of her love and counsel. And we will laugh and dance as we remember and celebrate her legacy.

Say So
As school picked up volleyball games began on Tuesday nights at the same time as thrive. I was super frustrated and missed Thrive for a couple months because of it. I had a chance to come back again on a Tuesday before basketball season, but after small groups and some conversations I had that night I heard a voice inside saying, “you’re not welcome here anymore. You skipped for too long. How will you be able to justify that to your friends, or leaders, or even God?”

When was the last time your love took action?
If we love Jesus, then we are going to love people. Love them with our words, love them with our time, love them by helping them, love them while worshipping together. We had done all of this, and that had affected change. Change in our hearts, in our minds. We had stood next to other Jesus followers, we did not always understand each other, but we were loving each other by just showing up.

Unprecedented God
Under this new Kingdom constitution. A close look at Matthew 5 tells that: Happy are the poor in spirit, happy are those who mourn, happy are the meek, happy are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, happy are the merciful, happy are the pure in heart, happy are the peacemakers, happy are those who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, happy are those who suffer reproach and persecution. When we join the Kingdom of the heavens and serve this unprecedented King. We can expect the unexpected, rejoice in the unparalleled goodness of God, take heart in the unmatched mercies of God and receive the unrivaled love of God. ‍

Waking Up 2021
The Cambridge dictionary defines a light as a piece of equipment that produces light, such as a lamp or a bulb. This is where we ask deep in our souls as to what is the light that is producing the energy and passion within us. For TIME Ministries, the passion to share the gospel to those in need and to share Christ with them is the “light-spark” that shines out from us.
