TIME MISSIONS COMMUNICATION FOR CHANGE

Positive change is finding healthy ways to react and behave during the ebbs/ flows and variation that occur in ministry. Change needs to be recognized brought into focus and given the right amount of attention. Within a healthy organization, behaviors toward change can produce shifts in culture that are productive. Producing a plan of action where the benefits of the change are plainly understood is imperative to a process of change.

Communications for Change at the TIME corporate level (admin and governance) of the non-profit can be achieved with numbers, policy and percentages. These are easily understandable as we put the funding into the areas that speak to the heart of the mission. Communicating change in ministry values means, a change in attitudes and beliefs. This calls for a change in our basic assumptions of how ministry is accomplished. A shift or defining in TIME's values of what a ministry is, must clarify the purpose of TIME and be beneficial to the mission of TIME.

Change is inevitable. Change happens. How change is embraced is important to the health of any organization.

TIME is fortunate, as we have been able to embrace the changes God has provided. Partners at the local church level have bent but did not break some of TIME's traditional ministries that we have advocated for years. These important changes have been beneficial for TIME and the Kingdom of Jesus. TIME being flexible and available to the request of what ministry American organization want to experience on TIME trips, has had reliable and eternal results.

TIME continues to seek God’s face about change and how it effects our missions. With the changes the STM groups are making, we are seeing our site schedules fill up. Changes in the local church approach to STM are not the only factor for our schedule blessing, but it is significant. The work we have put into growing TIME has paid off and all 3 branches of the organization of TIME (Governance, Administrative and Ministry) have all embraced the future of TIME. Now is the time to address what TIME values. An emphasis on the anchor that produces all things missions. What I know is important to communicate to all who come to TIME. TO KNOW GOD.

Recent History

TIME performs wonderfully in ministry and logistics to meet the needs of the group tours. Most, if not all groups are satisfied with the results. Group leaders and tourists see for themselves the help TIME can be in the spiritual formation of their team that they have already established.

However, there are deeper things of God that TIME desires to teach and model that could have a larger impact on the Church, that are currently not well communicated to the groups. The activities and schedule already being used by TIME I believe, do not advocate or allow for Intimacy with God.

Shift in Culture

TIME must implement opportunities and be intentional in word and deed to teach and model intimacy with The Spirit of God to the groups. This change starts with us at TIME. TIME Missions with the power of Christ for change, must seek change!

By the indwelling Spirit of God, we can be inspired to become inspirational in our efforts to help fulfill our brand to: Know God and Advance Missions.

God Inspires: God works through us, using the power of His scripture to convict, the life of Jesus to save, and the Holy Spirit to influence our mind for thinking.

God also inspires us through relationships.

God designed us to be moved by the needs of those around us. Relationships are meant to stir the heart and lead us to inspiration. This makes relationships by God’s design disruptive. We are confronted with relationships every day. Relationships issues are the norm. The body of Christ must move in unison. Not trusting what we see or feel, but in belief in the power in Christ for each other. Hoping and loving in the perfect, better and eternal Christ for each other.

God requires us to put aside our emotion, preference, interest and comfort, to give to others.

Commitment

Are we motivated to change, to be more like Christ? Are we equipped for Christ change and for “He to be greater and I less?”   The benefits of a change to Know God is being Christ, like in power.   We Know God, then we experience a new life that saves us from selfishness. We become intimate with God’s love. We look to influence others to worship God for the sake of pleasing God. With the Know God change we will experience being worn out and rested, fear that becomes wisdom, weakness that becomes strength, restlessness becomes peace, a better experience with more opportunities for “Thy Kingdom Come-Thy Will be done.”

TIME Missions focus of being intimate with God will change effort, attitudes and culture. As we engage others to come with us on this journey to meet God, together we will see His tangible blessing through His accomplishments in us and around us, pressed down and overflowing.

This change in focus around intimacy with God will be experienced by all groups and us at TIME, both in the now and forever. The transformation will be completed between all of us and the groups, when we live out our God Given Grace for the sake of giving out God’s Given Grace.

Are we ready for the work it will take to be intimate with the life of Jesus to the point of getting off His throne and climbing up and placing ourselves on the cross with Him?

The following proposal is not a plan, it’s a commitment to the excellence of Christ.

Col 3:23-24 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

Be Inspirational "To fall in love with God is the greatest romance; to seek Him the greatest adventure; to find Him, the greatest human achievement." - Saint Augustine

Psalm 63:1-3. O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. So, I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you.
