MX to the DR for TEAM TIME.
TIME Team Mexico makes the flight to Santo Domingo.
The Home Office sends TIME Mexico to help Advance Missions in the DR.
For the next two weeks all missionaries, national interns from Mexico will be working in the Dominican Republic to share the gospel, build a Chapel and straighten some teeth.
We are so excited to get everyone at TIME together in service to Know God-Advance Missions. Over the past couple of months, I have introduced to you all our new staff in Mexico. (In the picture below right top) we have Edgar and his family. Edgar Baruch has been around TIME forever and is really good friends with Sam Olmedo. Edgar brings experience and leadership to TIME and a real desire to help the local Church in Mexico thrive. Pray with Edgar in his asking God: to build something that Glorifies Jesus and to find out what God wants to do in Monterrey Mexico.
In the picture below we have 2 national interns from Mexico. Arturo and Sergio. Sergio has the bright yellow suitcase and Arturo is left of him. Sergio is new to me, but Arturo has been around for years. It is so good to see future workers for TIME being used now for God's glory. Pray Arturo and Sergio find time to be alone with God over the next 2 weeks and find His plan for their lives.
Also, in the pic you'll find, Paola to the far left with the newest member to the world of TIME, baby Oliver. First travel for Oliver to the DR and we hope not his last! Kike holding the phone and taking the selfie shot is the happy dad of Oliver. Wish them blessings!
Who is left? Ivan and Kat (middle). They come to TIME from Mexico City where they served with CRU. Ivan and Kat are in transition to serve in Monterrey Mexico, in April they will be living in Monterrey. They bring youth and experience to TIME. I went to Mexico last October to interview Ivan and Kat as part of the process to become a Missionary with TIME. I was so happy to meet them and spend time talking about ministry. I met the Pastor of the church where they serve and was so glad to learn about Ivan and Kat's love for the Church. Ivan and Kat also knew where all the good food was located. In Mexico City driving is one big hassle. So, we walked one half hour to eat the best tacos in Mexico. Welcome this great couple to TIME!
Sam and Jess, the leaders of TIME Mexico are not in the picture. This wonderful family is on a much-deserved sabbatical. Jess has been serving TIME for 17 years or longer. Jess, Sam and family took some time in Pennsylvania for the Mia and Grace to experience American culture and get know Grandma, Grandpa and all the extended families. God is so good!
