Dear Friend of TIME Missions,
I want to begin by saying thank you.
If you are receiving this letter, you are already connected to the story of TIME Missions in some meaningful way. You may have prayed, given, served on a team, sent a student, encouraged a missionary, supported the Home Office, or simply followed and cared about what God has been doing through TIME over the years.
Because of that, we want to invite you to a story that has been quietly growing since 1995.
God is always connecting His people. TIME Missions is no different. I am sure you have your own stories of how God has taken you under His wing and connected you to Himself through people, places, and moments at different times in your life.
That is what has happened in Cabrera. God has been connecting the dots.
Over the next several months, we want to share the story of Cabrera, Dominican Republic, and how God has been connecting this work through local churches, chapel ministry, American church partners, trusted relationships, Tyler and Sarai Prescott, field testing, and the affirmation of TIME’s leadership and trustees.
Cabrera is not a rushed expansion. It is not TIME Missions trying to force a new idea into place. Cabrera is a place where God has already been working for years.
For a long time, TIME Missions has had meaningful ministry connections in Cabrera. American churches have served there. Chapels have been built. Relationships with local pastors and believers have grown. Teams have prayed, worked, encouraged, and shared the love of Jesus in a place where the local church continues to need strong gospel partnership.
Now we believe God is leading TIME Missions to take the next step.
That next step is the development of a family home and ministry base in Cabrera for Tyler and Sarai Prescott and their family. This home is not just about housing. It is about long-term presence. It is about hospitality, ministry stability, leadership development, church partnership, and giving TIME Missions a rooted place from which to serve Cabrera well.
Please Joins us. We want to tell the story.
We want you to see the history.
We want you to see the people.
We want you to see the local church connections.
We want you to see why Tyler and Sarai matter to this next step.
We want you to understand why Cabrera matters to TIME Missions.
And we want you to pray with us as we walk forward.
In the weeks ahead, we will be sharing photos, stories, ministry history, updates from Cabrera, and drawings of the proposed home and ministry base. Our hope is that by the time we make a financial ask, you will already understand the story, the need, and the opportunity. Today, we are not asking you to respond with a gift. Some supporters have already begun to give, and we are grateful. But for this season, our first goal is to help you see the story clearly. We are asking you to pray, ask questions, and walk with us as we explain what God has been building. God has been connecting this story for years. We are simply trying to be faithful with the next step.
God Is Connecting His Story.
The Next Step is Cabrera.
With gratitude,
Rick Lee
