This summer started with sparks of hope. In June, I witnessed two young men in the Dominican Republic say yes to Jesus through TIME for Sports’ basketball outreach. Calvary Church and Christian International School from Orlando didn’t just show up—they ignited the Gospel and helped Fuel Missions. TIME Missions has many stories like this one, God is always moving and has us on assignment. Our current assignment is “Fueling Missions”.
Sending. Serving. Sustaining.
You Can Go. You Can Serve. You Can Help Sustain. TIME MISSIONS
What Does It Mean to “Fuel Missions”?
Picture it this way...
- Trip Participants are the fuel.
- American Churches are the octane.
- The TIME Home Office is the fuel pump—moving resources and people where they’re needed most.
Together, we can connect the Body of Christ to service to His Kingdom. Without this fuel the engine of Short-Term Missions stalls. So how can you get involved in this initiative
FUEL MISSIONS:
YOU CAN GO
YOU CAN SERVE
YOU CAN HELP SUSTAIN
SENDING: Mission trips don’t just happen because someone buys a plane ticket. They happen because people—often behind the scenes—pray, plan, provide, and persevere. You fall into that some how.
Without fuel the engine of Short-Term Missions stalls. TIME Mexico has stalled, and it needs your roadside assistance. The need in Mexico is greater than ever! Their tank is nearly empty, and it needs your help to get moving again! Whether you pray, provide, or go - We need them all!
We first began our ministry in Mexico back in 1968, when a group of young people gathered in Pueblo Nuevo, just outside Monterrey, as the Teenage Institute of Missionary Evangelism—now known as TIME Missions. Over the decades, our presence in Mexico has evolved. What began with building churches and block parties has grown into vibrant school partnerships—teaching English, developing relationships, and sharing Christ through everyday conversations. Our Missionaries get to share a meal through TIME to Eat, host VBS ministries, and partner with local pastors to help fill many needs.
We firmly believe God is far from done in Mexico. We’re witnessing fresh opportunities and spiritual hunger that point to the next chapter of this ministry, but we need the American Church to hear God’s call on this Mission Field as well and SEND their church to Monterrey to fulfil the ministry needs.
SERVING: We know not every person is called to cross borders—but everyone is called to cross into mission. Serving happens in somany forms: packing supplies, leading prayer, mobilizing your church, supporting your pastor, or encouraging others to go.Right now, TIME Missions is calling churches not just to send—but to serve alongside. Maybe that means helping yourlocal church re-engage with what God is doing on the field. Maybe it means offering your skills in logistics, communication, or discipleship to help a team prepare for the mission. You might not be the one flying to Mexico or the Dominican Republic—but your hands, your time, and your willingness make every trip possible. There’s room for every gift in God’s mission—and if you’re wondering whether yours matters, the answer is yes.
SUSTAINING: Behind every mission trip is our home office team. Quiet, faithful, yet essential. At TIME Missions, our Home Office is sort of like the “engine room”. All of the behind-the-scenes work to ensure the operation continues to work towards bringing God glory. Sustaining this work takes more than effort. It takes resources. The truth is: trip fees help—but they don’t cover everything. We give because we know God will provide. We need monthly supporters and generous one-time donors to help us meet our $50,000 General Fund goal by November. This fund keeps the entire system running—fueling not only missions, but missionaries themselves .If you’ve ever been impacted by a TIME Missions trip, or know someone who has, we ask: would you help sustain this work so others can experience the same?
Let’s Fuel Missions—together.
Let’s SEND. Let’s SERVE. Let’s SUSTAIN. We KNOW God is on the move. Will you move with Him?
